Vertical Double Vision |
These conditions frequently cause severe visual problems of focusing and blur, double vision, loss of vision on one side (hemianopia), difficulty with balance and movement, eye hand coordination problems.
These visual consequences can significantly interfere with a person’s ability to perform activities of daily living such as reading, walking, watching TV and driving.
These vision problems also can interfere with recovery, and the benefits of other rehabilitation care such as occupational and speech therapy, and physiotherapy.
Liz Wason and Steve Leslie have extensive experience in examination of these vision problems after brain injury, as well as treatment with lenses, prisms and exercises to improve visual function and recovery.
Clients are often referred to the office for such specialised care by occupational therapists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, neurologists, optometrists and ophthalmologists. The office is wheelchair friendly with a handicapped accessible toilet. |
