Frames

Spectacle frames come in an unlimited range of styles and shapes, colours and prices. Your spectacle prescription often needs to be considered when choosing a frame, as spectacle lenses for a high prescription can look very thick or bulky in the wrong frame, spoiling the whole effect. Experienced optical dispensers can guide you to frames which make you look good, and as well as looking good with your spectacle lenses fitted to them.

It is also very important the correct measurements are taken with your new frames to ensure your new spectacle lens prescription works as intended by your optometrist, and a good optical dispenser will work with your optometrist to ensure the final result looks good on you, and you can see clearly and comfortably.

Spectacle frames need to be fitted accurately and sometimes need to be readjusted with wear and tear, to give you the best possible vision. Experienced staff can make all the difference for your glasses to be comfortable and stay in place!

Lenses

Spectacle lenses nowadays have hundreds of variations, and it is important for you to have expert guidance on the best lens for you and your vision. Click here for more information on Lenses.

Contact Lenses

Contact lens fees vary considerably, depending on the type of contact lenses, your prescription, and the number of aftercare visits required. There are two components of fees; the cost of lenses, and the professional fees involved in ensuring your eyes remain healthy, and the contact lenses continue to work for you as well as possible.

There are many options available in frequent replacement, or disposable, soft contact lenses. Click here for more information on Contact Lenses.

Vision Therapy

Optometric vision therapy is used to help children and adults to develop normal visual abilities. As a child grows, visual abilities normally develop from play and experience, so poor visual skills can be improved with appropriate training. This helps a child to learn better visual skills, which when practised through enjoyable activities, become learned and maintained.

The development of visual skills involves a child learning to use and move both eyes as a team, to focus them accurately, to guide their hands with their eyes for writing and catching, and to understand and remember what their eyes see. Click here for more information on Vision Therapy.
